A little throwback from DIY Ferndale 2016. We’ll be at DIY Ferndale 2018 this year, bringing you some fresh jams!
We’re starting to work on our summer festival shows and would love to hear where you’d like to see us perform. Add a comment, share, or email us HERE.
Just in time for summer, we’ve got some rad shows and a new single, “Veins“, that will be a great addition to your summer jam playlist! Limited edition copies, that include a bonus song, will be available at Ann Arbor Summer Festival on Sunday, June 18th. And we’ll release it everywhere online shortly after. So keep yer ears peeled! See you somewhere this week! — Barelyon
So yeah… we tend to be performing so much that we don’t actually upload videos regularly. Thanks to our fans, there are quite a few out there if you look for them. But here’s one from a fest we performed at last year. Enjoy!

The Music & Arts Guild Showcase, Episode 28 :: Barelyon
Released – Nov 04, 2016
From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the twenty-eighth episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with your special guest hostess, Kate de Fuccio.
AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.
In this week’s episode, Barelyon brings their soulful harmonies all the way from Detroit to the AM1700 studios. They hang out with James and chat about themselves in between ripping through some truly beautiful songs.
Aired on 03 November, 2016 Recorded live at AM1700 Radio in historic, downtown Ypsilanti, MI.
Every Tuesday we host an Open MIC at Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters in Detroit. From 6:30-9pm we get to listen to amazing local musicians and it is inspiring every single time. We love starting the week this way before our weekly shows. The coffee is amazing and Leona is pretty hilarious when she is hopped up on caffeine. Come SHOW US WHAT YA GOT!
